The Perfect Summer Job

Becoming a camp counselor is the perfect summer job for a graduating high school senior or a college student. You will get plenty of hours, but you will never have to work during the evenings or the weekends. And you even get the week of July 4th off. Talk about the perfect hours!

The Camp Directors start the hiring process in January in order to have the team in place and trained prior to the first day of camp on May 28, 2025. Camp Legacy is a day camp offering 10 one-week themed sessions all summer long.

As a Camp Counselor, you will lead your assigned group through their daily activities alongside your Jr. Counselor who is there to assist you. The kiddos participate in morning songs, swimming, archery, arts and crafts, sports, and more. Your role is to inspire them to stay engaged and to create fun, memorable experiences.

Camp Legacy is divided into Upper Camp and Lower Camp. Lower Camp is for Legacy School kiddos aged 4 and 5, while registration for Upper Camp is open to the public for kids finishing Kindergarten through 5th Grade. The earlier you apply, the better the chance you can request the age group of your preference.

This summer job is one that you will want to return to year after year. Submit your application now!
